I don't have room to set up multiple real switches and would probably trip the electrical breaker if I did. I have to rely on simulators on my laptop. I can't utilize the production network at my server room for a lab. I agree that the NetSim leaves something to be desired. Particularly with swtiches.

Its better with routers. The ExamSim is nice. My only problem is the simulation questions are not as complex as the real exam. I've taken and failed the switch exam once already. I really wish there were a good switch simulator out there. Even one that offered a virtual environment requiring bin files like GNS3.
